We offer a private chickenpox vaccination service to help reduce the risk of catching chickenpox.

To be protected from chickenpox, you will need two doses of the vaccine, leaving 4-weeks between each dose.

What is chickenpox?

The most common symptom of chickenpox is an itchy, spotty rash which can appear anywhere on your body.

Both adults and children can catch chickenpox. Adults tend to have more symptoms than a child.

Whilst most people only get chickenpox once in their life, it’s not an uncommon occurrence to catch it a second or third time.

Preventing chickenpox

Protect yourself from catching chickenpox with a vaccination. Our pharmacist will discuss the vaccination and your medical history before administering the injection. You’ll get a follow-up appointment 4-weeks after the first dose for the second, final dose.
